Our ministry at the AWM

There are two main aspects to our current ministry at the Akademie für Weltmission in Korntal. (1) Markus teaches in the area of Biblical studies and specifically in New Testament. In February of 2008 he teaches a course on the book of James. For the summer is a NT Introduction class as well as a study of 1 Peter. (2) Our family has a hospitality, encouragment ministry to students living at the school. This isdone mainly from our apartment located in the building proper. Back in January of 2007 we had the opportunity to taste this kind of life as Markus taught a two week block course and we all had the chance to minister to students. Please pray for effectiveness in this task to God's glory.

(3) Recently, God has opened up an opportunity for Julia to use her teaching gifts at the AWM. This July she will teach a one hour research methods course to students in the Doctorate of Education program.
